We believe in building a collaborative relationship with our clients. You start working with us by having a free 30-minute discovery conversation about your group/organization’s needs. From there, we will customize your workshop based on the modality (in person, virtual, or hybrid), size of audience, desired interactivity, how many workshop sessions are needed, etc.

We aim for our workshops to involve creative thinking, self-reflection, and communal sharing. We also create supplemental resources that participants can take with them.

Pricing

Pricing depends on the specifications of the workshop. We encourage prospective clients to propose what they need and the budget they are working with, and we can let you know what we can offer. Typically our fee has ranged from $1000-$5000 for a single workshop session.

Oh My Boba!: A Cultural History to Chew On

Boba milk tea has become a global phenomenon. It has also become an emblem of Asian American identity and culture. But where does this tasty drink come from, and what does it mean that it is such a popular object of consumption? In this workshop, we treat boba as more than "just a drink." We uncover the history of boba as it relates to colonialism, capitalism, and globalization. Participants will explore the relationships between food, identity, and politics. All will come away with a cultural history to chew on.
